Feeling Good

Breaking your wrist helps make one realize all the things you take for granted. Like dressing yourself, signing your name for the credit card, making a sandwich or tying your shoes to name just a few.

Today, I got upgraded from my navy blue cast that went up to my bicep (which looks more like a starved chicken wing now) to a hot pink wrist cast! Say hello to bending my arm again! Here is the list of things I am so excited to do once my muscles remember that they can move...

1. Do my hair (yea for ponytails!)
2. Dress myself
3. Drive
4. Put in contacts myself
5. Snowboard (Ok, I will have to wait on this on till the cast comes off...and then for the snow...so next winter)

Mostly, I am feeling really grateful for my body and a wonderful husband who was willing to everything I couldn't for me. Plus he was willing to put up with me when I had all of my baby fits of frustration when I wanted to do things but couldn't.
