Funny! I have a picture of Carly drinking a bottle of sparkling lemonade with a nipple on the top at six months old. Maybe it was as good for her as 7-Up seemed to be years ago :)
ReplyDeleteOld advertisements are the BEST!!! If you ever want a fun (but random) date night, go down to the periodicals at BYU and have a competition to find the most ridiculous ads, especially from the turn of the century through 1950.
ReplyDeleteOne of my projects in college involved poring though magazines from that era (I studied the evolving image of the family, but everyone did their own thing) - it was fascinating to see not only what my classmates did with their projects but to see some of the claims that were made before there was any sort of regulation in that industry!
